The festival "Cinema per l'Unicef", also named "Cinema di Firenze", was held from
the 23rd to the 27th of November, 1979 in Florence, Italy.
The UNICEF event concluded with a big gala on the 27th, where Esther
Ofarim performed together with Yoni Rechter on piano
and David Shamban on violin. This show was broadcast on TV on the 26th of
December in Italy by RAI and in 127 other UNICEF countries.
